Enriched by my cultural background and life-experiences I offer depths of understanding on how diversified roots of origins may impact relationships and sexuality. I works humanistically, integrating a range of approaches with a focus on the uniqueness of each individual.
My warm, sensitive, yet gently challenging therapeutic style ascertains that clients feel safe and supported to face the complexities of their experiences and explore even the most uncomfortable of contents.
As a practitioner I deliver a transformative, in-depth process that goes beyond surface-level results. My therapeutic journey prepares for new layers of awareness and making space for shift and sustainable changes. I create a connectedness based on confidentiality, acceptance and ethical practice that provokes reflection and empowering dialogs which in turn promotes healing and growth. And although there is no risk of judgement or criticism, there might be a gentle challenge and potent developmental feedback.
If you’re seeking a practitioner who provides warmth, depth and a fresh perspective, I would be honoured to hear from you.
Hello, I am Agatha and I am COSRT, BACP and UKCP accredited psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and Gestal group facilitator.
With my passion for critical and strategic thinking, I initially completed a master’s degree in philosophy, yet I was always fascinated by psychology. When I relocated the England, I joined the police force, where I gained ample of invaluable experiences that led me to endeavour on my childhood dreams and retraining as a psychotherapist.
To start with I qualified as a counsellor, and NLP practitioner and then I continued and graduated from University of Derby with Certificate in psychology, diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling and Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship therapy accredited by Middlesex University. I then went on to advance my studies by achieving accredited status from COSRT, UKCP and BACP and I also became a clinical supervisor and Gestalt group facilitator. Although it all taken me around 10 years, it was so worth it!
I spent my first few years of clinical practice working from London's a busy centres alongside very experienced colleagues and mentors, where I learnt so much about about human nature, and most of all what make us react and act in certain ways and how can we navigate our lives to accomplish best possible results.
Before specialising in sex and relationship therapy I enjoyed working in bereavement centre, primary school settings using variety of modalities and interventions (including play and sand-play models) to deal with trauma, loss, ocd, phobias, depression, anxiety amongst many other presentations.
I now specialise mainly in working with individuals, couples and diverse relationships facing a scope of psychosexual and relationship challenges, including intimacy issues, male and female sexual dysfunctions, infidelity and trauma. I also hold special interest in neurodivergent presentations, especially in ASD and ADHD and their impact on sexual and relational functioning.
I am bilingual speaker and provide therapeutic process inclusively in both English and Polish languages.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
