My Approach

My therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and trauma-informed, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to meet the unique needs of each child, young person, adult, or family. I place particular importance on creating a safe, collaborative, and compassionate therapeutic relationship, recognising this as the foundation for meaningful change. Alongside specialist experience in adoption, special guardianship, attachment, and developmental trauma, I integrate EMDR where appropriate to help clients process difficult experiences and build resilience. I also support parents and carers through NVR-informed therapeutic parenting, helping strengthen relationships and promote positive change within the family system.

About Me

I am an Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist registered with the UKCP, working with children, young people, adults, and families in Bromley and the surrounding areas of South East London and Kent. Trained at Terapia, I have extensive experience supporting clients across a range of educational, clinical, and community settings.

Early in my career, I worked in both primary and secondary schools, providing therapeutic support to students and collaborating closely with parents and teachers. During this time, I also facilitated a therapy group for Year 8 boys experiencing difficulties with school attendance.

I have since worked at PAC-UK and Family Futures, developing over six years of specialist experience supporting adopted children, young people and adults, children and young people subject to Special Guardianship Orders, birth parents, and wider family networks. Alongside direct therapeutic work, I support adoptive parents and special guardians through NVR-informed therapeutic parenting approaches (Level 2).

I am also trained in EMDR, having completed Parts 1-3 of the Adult EMDR training and Level 1 Child & Adolescent EMDR training.

I now work at The Lifespan Practice in Bromley, offering EMDR therapy, integrative psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults, therapeutic parenting support and clinical supervision.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Adoption is a lifelong journey, and questions about identity, belonging, relationships, loss, grief, and early experiences can emerge at different stages of life. I provide specialist therapeutic support for adopted young people and adults, offering a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental space to explore their personal story, make sense of complex emotions, and strengthen emotional wellbeing. My attachment-informed and trauma-aware approach recognises both the challenges and strengths within the adoption experience, and where appropriate, I integrate EMDR to help process traumatic experiences and reduce the impact of distressing memories.
I integrate EMDR into my practice where appropriate, supporting clients to process traumatic experiences, overcome emotional difficulties, and move forward with greater confidence and wellbeing.
I have extensive experience supporting children, young people, and adults who have experienced trauma and post-traumatic stress, integrating trauma-informed psychotherapy and EMDR to help clients process distressing experiences, reduce the impact of traumatic memories, and develop greater emotional resilience and wellbeing.
I offer clinical supervision for therapists and other helping professionals working with adults, children, and young people, providing a reflective, supportive, and collaborative space to develop clinical thinking, strengthen professional confidence, and enhance practice. My supervision training encompasses work across the lifespan, and I draw on an integrative, relational, and trauma-informed perspective to tailor supervision to the individual needs, developmental stage, and experience of each supervisee.
