Research networking event

UKCP would like to welcome you to our first in-person research networking event in collaboration with the Society for Psychotherapy Research (SPR).

Interested in hearing about what the future of psychotherapy research might look like, and how you can develop your own research skills in practice? This networking event will hold a panel discussion with psychotherapy researchers with a broad range of experience and interests.

Hear our panel discuss the landscape of international psychotherapy research, the current main challenges of navigating research in psychotherapy in the UK, and how they navigate the gap between practice and academic research. Following the panel discussion, a guided networking session will allow attendees to meet other UKCP members interested in research.

Date: Saturday 20 September 2025
