Emerging Researchers Network (ERN)

UKCP invites all postgraduate and early career researchers to join the new Emerging Researcher Network (ERN). At our first online meeting in November, we will welcome Dr Amy Pearson (Durham University) to talk about her work in the field of autism and neurodiversity.

At this meeting, there will be:

  • a presentation
  • a Q&A session
  • an opportunity for emerging researchers to give an overview or ‘mini presentation’ of their own work.

Learning objectives:

  • understand some of the unique experiences that autistic people assigned female at birth can experience across the lifespan
  • describe the impact of masking and stigma on autistic outcomes across the lifespan
  • meet with a wider network of UKCP postgraduate and early career researchers
  • discuss how to overcome barriers and challenges when undertaking research.

During the session, participants can also discuss any challenges or barriers they’re facing in a current project with Dr Amy Pearson and come away with specific tips, advice and guidance.

After this event, you will receive a certificate of attendance, which you can submit for consideration towards your CPD hours.

Be among the first to receive more information on the ERN and its future events by signing up for our network mailing list.
