AI in therapy: safe and ethical practice

AI is already shaping psychotherapy practice – from note‑taking tools to the increasing use of AI‑supported mental‑health apps by clients. This practical online seminar is designed to help therapists navigate this fast‑changing landscape safely, ethically and with confidence.

Bringing together expert perspectives in ethics, clinical governance and real‑world practice, the seminar will focus on what therapists need to know and do when using AI in their work. You’ll explore key issues such as professional responsibility, boundaries, risk awareness, and how to respond when clients are already engaging with AI tools.

Participants will gain clear, actionable guidance to support safe and defensible decision‑making in everyday practice.
