About the role

As a registration officer, you'll support UKCP members, applicants and members of the public by responding to enquiries and administering key registration and membership processes. You'll play an important role in ensuring our register remains accurate, up-to-date and reflective of UKCP's professional standards. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll help deliver an excellent member experience while contributing to the smooth running of registration and renewal activities.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • processing applications, renewals and membership updates accurately and efficiently
  • maintaining accurate member and registration records
  • responding to enquiries by email, telephone and other channels
  • applying policies, procedures and guidance consistently and fairly
  • producing reports and supporting data quality activities
  • identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery
  • supporting the delivery of a positive member experience across the registration lifecycle.

About you

We're interested in hearing from people who enjoy working in a structured environment, have strong attention to detail and can balance excellent customer service with the need to follow procedures accurately.

You will bring:

  • experience providing high-quality administrative support in a professional, regulatory, service delivery or customer-focused environment
  • experience administering registration, accreditation, certification, renewal, enrolment or similar processes
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • the ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of enquiries through to resolution
  • confidence interpreting and applying policies, procedures and guidance
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • a proactive approach to learning, problem solving and continuous improvement.

Experience within a membership body, professional association, regulator, charity or similar organisation would be advantageous but is not essential.

You’ll work alongside colleagues from diverse backgrounds and collaborate with team members across the organisation. There’ll be scope for professional development and growth whilst working closely within a small team. In short, it is an opportunity to make a real difference.
