Professional standards manager

Full-time (part-time requests will be considered, 28 hours+)

London-based, hybrid and flexible working 

£51,108 per annum (pro-rated for part-time)

 

About the role 

We are looking for a professional standards manager to join our team and support the operation of UKCP’s Complaints and Conduct Process (CCP). This role is central to ensuring that concerns and complaints against registered members are managed with integrity, fairness and efficiency.

You will oversee the day-to-day management of investigations and adjudications, ensuring processes are followed accurately and service standards are met. The role involves working closely with the Professional Conduct Committee, supporting adjudication hearings, and contributing to strategic projects that enhance regulation and complaints handling.

About you 

You will bring experience in complex complaints handling within a professional body or regulated environment, alongside strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Experience in policy research, consultations and writing briefings is essential. Legal training or experience in the charity or mental health sectors would be an advantage.
