"Not everything that is faced can be changed but nothing can be changed until it is faced."
I am UPCA and UKCP Accredited Registered.
I believe in seeking meaning in life. I am passionate about using psychotherapy as a therapeutic alliance for individuals and couples to enhance their understanding about themselves and improve the quality of their individual lives and relationships.
I endeavour to provide a safe, confidential and nonjudgmental space to my clients where they can unpack their chaos and find a narrative for themselves that can give meaning to their experiences and help them get in touch with their loss, pain, guilt, shame, joy and celebration.
In their feedback my clients have said, that they have experienced a feeling of getting unstuck, authenticity, improved quality of life and relationships, mental and physical health and a sense of empowerment.
I have accumulated thousands of client hours and worked with hundreds of clients. Despite the fact that my main client group is white British I have substantial experience of working with culturally diverse communities and backgrounds presenting wide range of issue and dynamics. I have conducted counselling in Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and with interpreters.
I am qualified and have experience of using different modalities like, Psychotherapeutic, Humanistic and Existentialist. My Relationship Training and experience is in Systemic and Transactional analysis. This allows me to have a wide range of spectrum where I can work with clients or couples to see as to what approach would suit there needs and goals from counselling.
I conduct both short term and long term or open ended work with excellent recovery rate.
I offer supervision to counsellors and students.
