About Me

I am a warm, creative, professional psychotherapist offering a cosy and confidential setting to explore what might be troubling you. My therapy room in Bicester has convenient off road parking and is only a 12 minute walk from Bicester Village train station and 15 minutes walk from the town centre. My way of working is humanistic, meaning that the relationship we develop is extremely important. I am trained to draw upon different modes of therapy depending upon what issues you bring to the room and what I feel could serve you best. This might include some CBT if you need practical skills to help you manage anxious ruminating thoughts or I might introduce some Mindfulness exercises which can help with sleeplessness and relaxation. I find working experientially can often open up new and interesting insights. I offer Telephone and Skype counselling when face-to-face work is not possible.
When working with Couples I see my role as facilitating a richer communication between you both and create a safe space where tricky issues can be tackled openly and help work out what each of you would like to do moving forwards. I do not give advice or take sides, I listen to what each of you have to say and help you to open up.
