I am a fully qualified, experienced Family Therapist with a background in working as a Registered Nurse in the NHS, over many years. My systemic approach explores the networks of significant relationships of which each individual is a part. It considers the beliefs that give meaning to people’s actions and the communication patterns between people, as they interact with each other and with each other’s ideas.
The aim of systemic practice is to enable all involved to find their hidden resources to move forward towards fulfilment in their lives and to always explore what is possible.
I work with individuals, couples, families and groups. Cultural sensitivity is important to me, as is working in a safe, confidential, reflective and respectful way together. I offer an eclectic approach to my work drawing from many theories and practice.
‘A strongly held belief of mine is- ‘the key to good therapy is the therapeutic relationship to enable change to happen.’
I provide independent work to individuals, couples, families and groups. .
I also provide clinical supervision.
I work in central Norwich. I can offer day and evening appointments. I am happy to discuss your therapy or supervision needs in a telephone call or via email. I look forward to meeting you and making our first appointment together.
