My Approach

I believe kindness and compassion are key to building a strong therapeutic relationship.
I use mindfulness, movement and creative practices to support a client to build resources, stabilise trauma and explore new ways of coming into relationship with the self and others.
I am trained in Core Process psychotherapy and SensoryMotor psychotherapy.

About Me

I have a particular interest in working with issues around identity, adoption and fostering ( although not Oftsted registered) and bereavement.
I am interested in working with the body, movement, meditation and creativity to support change and growth.
I have over 25 years experience of working with people suffering from trauma and loss in social work and NHS mental health settings.
I have lived experience as a transracial adult adoptee and identify as a queer therapist.
