I am a senior Systemic and Family Psychotherapist with more than 12 years’ experience working therapeutically in NHS and voluntary sector (charities) services. I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), have Association of Family Therapy (AFT) registration, and I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families.
I currently work part-time within two NHS Trusts: Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust, working within the Health Psychology department and specialist primary care services; and for the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in child and adolescent gender specialist services in Leeds.
I have significant experience working within various clinical specialties, including early intervention in psychosis, experience of delivering clinical supervision, and am a visiting lecturer on the Childhood Studies MA at the University of Leeds.
As a family and systemic family psychotherapist I give privilege to the significance and impact of our social and political worlds, to relationships, and to how our relational and contextual experiences in adulthood may be connected to developmental life experiences.
I pride myself on my compassionate and approachable manner, and my conscientious approach to collaborative work towards recovery with my clients.
