I am an Integrative Psychotherapist; this type of therapy allows the freedom to take elements from different therapeutic approaches according to the individual needs of the client. Sometimes people find it difficult or uncomfortable to put their feelings into words, make sense of what they are going through and need help & support from someone outside of their personal life. My approach explores how past experiences may affect the individual to their current experiences, integrating the relevant therapeutic approach which enables change for the individual. It is often after a period of struggling with feelings, difficulties or memories related to these experiences that a person may arrive at the point of needing the support to understand what is happening. Further to this, I can provide therapy that is culturally sensitive and culturally inclusive if needed by the individual. I am able to offer the counselling in either English or Urdu, giving the individual the flexibility to choose the language they are most comfortable with in expressing themselves.
