I am an experienced Systemic and Family Psychotherapist, with 20 years of experience in working with individuals, couples and families. I bring a warm, energetic, non judgemental and creative approach to my work. I have worked in many different settings over the years and specialise predominantly in work with trauma, abuse, attachment, separation, loss, fostering and adoption. I am also trained to work therapeutically through play with children and have experience of working with children with complex learning needs and disabilities. I am trained in attachment based work, to support the parent/carer and child relationship. I am trained in non violent resistance, a model focused on deescalating conflict, improving relationships, and reducing child to carer/parent aggression and violence, which I can offer through individual sessions or group work. I am an experienced trainer for groups and offer bespoke training courses for adoptive families and foster carers. For more information please do not hesitate to contact me.
