My Approach

I am an integrative therapist, which means I tailor therapy sessions to the individual client as each person will need something different. I believe in accepting the person as they are and that everyone has the ability to heal their own life, given the right support. I bring warmth, empathy, creativity and challenge to the therapeutic relationship.

There are many reasons why people seek the support of a therapist. Maybe they are are experiencing problems in their life at work, home or in relationships, and they do not fully understand why. Perhaps they have been through early trauma or traumatic experiences that they are having difficulty processing.

Sometimes we can be distressed or upset and have no words to explain or describe what is happening. Often the way we behave or act expresses how we feel, even though we may not always realise it. This is even more true for children, who may not have the words or experience to make sense of what is happening to them or others around them.

Sharing experiences, difficulties and feelings with someone who is not connected to your life and is non-judgemental can help you or your child make sense of what has happened or is happening.
