Hello. I am the director of Catalyst Therapy and I am currently the only qualified Hypno-psychotherapist operating within the Hampshire area. In 2015, I was honored to receive the J.P. Nobel award for contributions to the field of Hypno-Psychotherapy.
I completed my psychotherapy training with the National College of Hypnosis, Psychotherapy and Mindfulness and I am a registered hypnotherapist with the National Society of Hypnosis, Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness. Also, I am registered with the Professional Standards Authority through the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council and I am currently on the UKCP Accreditation pathway working towards an Advanced Diploma in Hypno-psychotherapy.
I am affiliated with the Private Therapy Clinic in London, Wings Counselling, and a member of the Brookhouse Hypnotherapy Group. Furthermore, I am a member of Anxiety UK, the Hampshire Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the United Kingdom Association for Solution-Focussed practice. I have also completed specialist Mindfulness training at the University of Oxford.
Catalyst Therapy is an integrative and multi-modal practice and through my work at the clinic I have gained clinical experience with issues including eating disorders, motivation and confidence issues, weight management, smoking cessation, anxiety issues, suicidal thoughts & self-harm, guilt and remorse, bereavement, irritable bowel syndrome and dermatological issues.
My strong research background enables me to keep up-to-date with research from journals and other publications on the topics of hypnosis and psychotherapy. My own research has examined the application of musical illusions in musical composition, the application of binaural beats for acute pain management and the psychological and neurological relationship between music and hypnosis.
I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Have a great day!
