I am an integrative psychotherapist with extensive experience. I use psychodynamic theory for thinking about and understanding the dynamics and patterns of relationships, but draw upon more cognitive and behavioural models to inform interventions. My qualifications include the following: a Doctorate in Psychotherapy, 2007 and an M.A. in Couple Therapy, 1990. In addition I have diplomas in Eating Disorders, NLP and Hypnotherapy; I am a qualified Rewind Practitioner - a model devised to reduce PTSD and similar trauma reactions swiftly and without the need to disclose the difficult event or events. My work experience includes a variety of settings in the UK and overseas, including corporate, government, hospitals and higher education. I have a long standing special interest in couple relationships and worked with Relate for nine years as a Private Licenced Counsellor. I am a UKCP Approved Supervisor. I am also registered with several private healthcare schemes. (Free on street parking at practice location)
