I have thirty years' experience as a psychotherapist in NHS services, and fifteen leading a Staff Counselling Service, also in the NHS. My background includes the 'Integrative' Qualification from the Sherwood Institute, and a Degree in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (Leeds), and I am approved as a supervisor by the Sherwood. My interests include working with people affected by trauma and loss, and family and workplace abuse or bullying. My work could be described as building a trusting relationship and focussing on emotion and attachment patterns, while also paying attention to thinking patterns and the body. I also enjoy running training workshops for people who work with clients with these issues - especially around trauma, workplace issues, and for work with people with disordered personalities.
