My Approach

I see clients face to face, online and by phone.
My approach is warm, curious and compassionate.
I work with individuals who may be experiencing distress, anxiety, low mood or confusion and endeavour to help them explore and understand the underlying causes of their distress in a containing and welcoming environment.
I offer both short term and open ended therapy for a array of issues including anxiety, depression, disability, relationships, women’s issues, bereavement, loss, health related issues, sexuality, stress, self esteem and more.

Being a psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist, I am interested in how childhood experience informs our adult relationships consciously and unconsciously and how it may influence the way we see and experience the world and our interactions with it. I often think of therapy as an opportunity to be curious about yourself, to gain insight and effect lasting positive change.

During your initial session, you can explore how it might feel to work with me, to explore your reasons for seeking therapy at this time, ask me any questions and think about what you might like to achieve from counselling and any fears you might have.

About Me

I am a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist working face to face with clients in Brighton and Sussex and online with clients across the country. I see a variety of clients and have worked extensively with young people aged 18-25 as well as adults.
