I am a fully accredited Integrative Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Creative Arts Therapist with over 13 years of experience, offering individual therapy sessions in North London. I’ve worked as the Lead Therapist in counselling organisations, founded and ran the Dramatherapy service in one of the leading mental health charities of Hackney, and worked as the placement manager and supervisor of creative therapy trainees. My experience as a therapist also includes working in psychiatric units, schools and geriatric care centres.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental space for you to express and process whatever brings you to therapy. I am trained both as a talking therapist and a creative arts therapist which means that I work in a unique way; with creative & expressive tools such as imagination, stories, art materials, objects, dream work, role-play, as well as talking- depending on the needs of every individual. My approach is relational and integrative; I use a range of theories including Jungian, developmental, psychodynamic and transpersonal.

I am experienced in working with: depression, anxiety, self-esteem & body image issues, eating difficulties, sexuality, relationship difficulties, loss of meaning, cultural identity and belonging, life transitions, bereavement and loss, spirituality, and experiencing creative blocks. I also do therapeutic coaching in working with creativity.

In my experience therapy can help us understand some of the unhelpful patterns we find ourselves stuck in and helps us to have greater awareness about ourselves. Through therapy we can build our resilience and access our inner resources. It is a transformative space where we can learn to live and relate from our authentic, creative, free selves- which I am passionate about in every individual.

We'll have an initial short conversation via phone or email, and then meet for a first session. During this session you can ask me any questions you have, and I'll get to hear about what brings you to therapy. We will then decide whether we want to work together and set up a weekly time slot for us to meet regularly.

My practice is in North London, just a few minutes walk from Manor House tube station.

I practice in English and Turkish.
