"I offer integrative psychotherapy to individuals and couples, working from my consulting room in West Oxford. I have been working with people for the last 30 years, drawing on an unusually broad range of different therapeutic approaches. This is based on the idea that rather than practising the same approach with all my clients (one size fits all), I can draw from the whole range of therapeutic approaches what will work for you, tailoring the therapy to you (rather than fitting you into the one approach I have been taught and practice).
I work with individuals, couples and groups, both short-term and long-term (from just a few sessions to many years), bringing the in-depth understanding I have been privileged to acquire with my very long-term clients to all of my practice.
I have particular experience working with the body-mind connection, expanding our options beyond 'talking therapy' to include your whole experience (your physical sensations, emotions, imagination, cognition and beliefs, intuition, in relation to others and yourself). This allows us to explore deeply and experientially whatever patterns and issues you want to work on, whether that is dealing with pain, distress, psychosomatic symptoms and trauma or developing your potential and engaging more fully with life.
I also run an assessment and referral service, helping you find the right therapist for you, when I have no availability myself."

Supervision and CPD Training for Counsellors & Psychotherapists

"I am an integral-relational Body Psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor (UKCP), with more than 30 years' experience of practising and teaching from an integrative perspective. Drawing on concepts, values and ways of working from a broad-spectrum range of psychotherapeutic approaches across both psychoanalytic and humanistic traditions, I am interested in the therapeutic relationship as a bodymind process between two people who are both wounded and whole. I have written numerous articles and several book chapters and I am a frequent presenter at conferences. Extracts from my published writing as well as summaries of presentations and hand-outs are available at www.integra-cpd.co.uk, or find me on Facebook and Twitter (INTEGRA_CPD)."
