I am a relational psychotherapist with a strong belief in the process of therapy within a supportive therapeutic relationship.
As an Integrative therapist I use a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques depending upon the needs and wishes of the client including Behavioural, Cognitive, Creative therapy, Existential, Gestalt, Humanistic, Person centred, Phenomenological, Play therapy, Psychodynamic and Relational. My core model is Transactional Analysis.
I offer a safe, confidential and supportive space for clients to explore their issues in order to assist them to decide on a positive way forward and to work through their problems at their own pace.
If you would like to seek help, we would begin by meeting for an initial consultation because I understand that choosing to pursue support can be a big decision. Following our initial meeting, a range of assessment and treatment options are available and we would decide together how best to proceed.
I have experience of working with children, young people and adults, who come to therapy for many reasons. My professional experience has included working with adult and child clients within national/local charitable and training organisations, primary and secondary school settings and private practice.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, Diploma in Child Psychotherapy - (Children and Adolescents), Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling - (Adult),
Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling - (Children and Adolescents) and I am also certified in Online and Telephone Counselling (ACTO).
