I am an experienced qualified psychotherapist working in English and in French with adults, couples, groups, young people and children with their families. I hold an MSc degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy, following earlier training in Expressive Art Therapy, Dance Movement Psychotherapy and Mindfulness.
I offer short-term and long-term psychotherapy depending on what is needed, either at my private practice or via Skype. A sliding fee scale is available for students and unemployed.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment in which to explore issues which may be causing you difficulties. As a Gestalt psychotherapist, my practice framework is relational, existential and experimental, supporting the development of mindful here and now awareness and promoting an embodied, dialogic therapeutic relationship as the primary focus of therapy and the key for change, growth and healing. Other approaches I draw upon include bodywork, movement psychotherapy, mindfulness and compassion.
I have experience working both in the UK and in France with people from different backgrounds, cultures and sexual orientation and with a wide range of issues including:
• Stress, burnout
• Relationship issues (individuals or couples)
• Domestic violence
• Lack of self-confidence, low self-esteem
• Difficulty coping with emotions, lack of body awareness
• Bereavement and loss
• Serious illnesses (cancer, chronic illness,...)
• Life transitions
• Expatriation related issues
I have particular expertise in the field of anxiety, stress, burn out, substance abuse and relationship issues.
