Lucy’s approach is relational, warm and compassionate. She integrates talking, the arts, somatic experiencing, and management techniques within her approach, depending on the needs of the young people she is working with. Lucy’s theoretical approach is integrative and trauma informed, she pulls on theories from a Psychodynamic and Humanist approach, in addition to elements from Body Psychotherapy and Neuroscience. Consequently, Lucy has helped many children and young people to be able to express and work through what previously may have felt like untouchable and unbearable amounts of pain.
Lucy has worked therapeutically with children, adolescents and young adults for over 15 years both in the UK and in the Middle East.
