I am experienced in helping people with a wide range of issues and have worked in counselling and psychotherapy since 1988 including a number of years seeing clients in a Primary Care setting with G.P. referrals.
I have been in private practice since 1996 and have undertaken further study in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy. I see clients from between 1 and 3 times a week.
Psychotherapy or counselling can help you with various difficulties in your life including working through deep seated negative patterns of relationships, emotional and sexual difficulties. Therapy can result in you experiencing more fulfilment in work, family and other relationships.
I am a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) and offer clinical supervision to Counsellors, Psychotherapists and other health care professionals. I am a Programme Leader for the BSc and MSc in Humanistic Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute and offer supervision and academic support across a range of modalities.
