I am based in Chiswick, London W4, and accredited with U.K.C.P. practicing as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I trained at the Metanoia institute gaining an MSc with distinction. I am also a certified supervisor. Integrative counselling and psychotherapy works in allowing us to access parts of ourselves that we are unaware of or feel we cannot change and make this conscious through an integrative process. Sometimes we try and think our way out of a problem and at other times we are overwhelmed with feelings and fears. By understanding and experiencing these in a safe environment we can grow and develop.

I have my own private practice and have worked in an an NHS environment with individuals and groups. I have many years of experience working with clients; particularly with relationship difficulties, bereavement, jealousy, anger, anxiety and negative thoughts, Suicidal thoughts, personality issues such as feeling sad, empty, low and isolated, depression, trauma, abuse, addictions, eating disorders and self-esteem. I offer short term and long term counselling and psychotherapy.

I am interested in the potential to grow and develop and believe in the ability to change and heal. Through integration, we can make whole what is difficult, traumatic and painful. My approach is to tailor therapy to each clients need and integrate therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) relational psychodynamic therapy and strategies such as mindfulness and mentalisation in order for healing to take place.

My background before counselling and psychotherapy involved active military service in the UK and the Middle East where I experienced trauma and during this time I received an award from the Queen at Buckingham palace for distinction of service. Later on in my career I became involved with developing people and organisations across many cultures and countries, restoring conflictual opposition through strengthening relationships and understanding differences.
