Are you looking for somebody to help you explore and understand your life in confidence? My style is collaborative and open-minded, and my hope is to help you discover new opportunities to live your life in a more personally fulfilling way.
I practise existentially, with a focus on helping you to develop resilience, manage change and realise your unique possibilities. This will involve helping you to explore your lived experience in terms of your relationships; your emotional well-being; and your values, choices and sense of purpose so that you can come to understand yourself more fully.
Whether you come at a time of distress with a particular difficulty or have reached a stage when you want to deepen your self-knowledge, I will provide you with a safe and supportive space where you can begin to make sense of whatever is troubling you.
• I am committed to ethical and non-discriminatory practise.
• I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation by Zoom, Skype or phone so we can see if we're a good therapeutic fit.
* Modality - Existential, Integrative, Humanistic
I have trained in a wide range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, person-centred and phenomenological and I will draw on these to provide the most effective therapy for you. I have 10 years' experience working with clients in the NHS, women’s and men’s counselling services, a hospice, a bereavement agency, a perinatal mental health charity and a cancer support centre.
In addition to the issues listed under 'What I can help with', I also work with life transitions and negotiating change; and with non-traditional relationships and kink-positive lifestyles.
