I work within a framework of Transpersonal and Integrative methods, which means that I take a holistic approach to a problem by taking into consideration the wholeness of our being, mind, body and soul. Whether it be depression, anxiety, bereavement, OCD, addiction, trauma related issues or relationship and family problems I offer you a range of practices and tools that best suit your needs.
These may include a combination of talking therapy, CBT, breathing techniques, mindfulness, guided visualisation, gestalt movement, dream-work, art work, sand play and other creative therapies.
The therapy may include looking into your past; your story that shaped you into the person you are now and your beliefs about who you are. Or it may be about the present; how do you respond to what life throws at you and how can you change those responses?
Finally, how do you let go of the past to embrace the future?
I am empathic and understanding, although I may at times challenge your ways of thinking, the intention is never to be judgmental, but to accompany you along your journey as you confront your problems and deal with issues.
