There are times in everyone's life when things are tough. Sometimes the difficulties are hard to manage and seem impossible to get beyond. There can be a sense of hopelessness, of circumstances repeating and nothing changing, or just a nagging feeling that life should have more meaning. At times like this, psychotherapy can offer a space in which to experience and explore very personal feelings and ideas. People often find that this can help things to become clearer and easier and a way forward to feel possible again.
Psychotherapy is not a quick fix for the difficultes of living, nor is it an easy undertaking, and it can take time for a trusting relationship to develop between therapist and client, but over time, the therapuetic process can help people to free up aspects of themselves that are often hard to bring to life in the pressured environment of modern society.
After contact is made, an initial consultation will be arranged, usually lasting for one hour. After this, therapist and client will meet regularly each week to think together about the client's difficulties.
Please email, phone or text, if you would like to arrange a confidential consultation.
Due to the current covid situation, consultations will take place via video link or telephone.
