My main therapeutic approach is phenomenological-existential but I often work with integratively when needed, combining the philosophy and techniques of other schools in psychotherapy like systemic therapy, psychoanalysis and cognitive behavioural therapy.
I am a chartered counselling psychologist, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and academic who lives and works mainly in Piraeus and Athens, Greece and online. Ι work as an individual, couple and group existential psychotherapist in private practice while i am teaching undergraduate modules and supervising dissertation students at Metropolitan College, Greece in programs validated by the University of East London, United Kingdom.
I hold a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Psychology, a master's degree (M.Sc.) in forensic psychology & criminology and a professional doctoral degree (DCPsych) in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy.
Having the mindset of a lifelong learner I have also attended post-graduate vocational training programs in cognitive analytic therapy, Jungian psychoanalysis, child Psychopathology, child psychology and child psychiatry, adult education teaching, legal Law for social scientists and music studies (Specialist certificate in guitar performance) among others.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
