I work with clients in an integrative way which reflects my wide range of qualifications. This enables me to design and agree unique approaches for each individual client using various therapeutic techniques. By combining therapeutic approaches in an appropriate and gentle setting change can be facilitated at a core level. Whether you have decided to enter into therapy to address a specific issue or for personal growth the therapeutic relationship will enable you to work towards the outcome that you desire within a safe environment. I am qualified as a psychotherapist, counsellor and hypnotherapist - these multiple qualification enable me to offer clients an almost unique range of approaches.
Before qualifying as a psychotherapist, I worked as Solicitor for 25 years. I was both a partner and departmental head of a respected firm of solicitors in the City of London. I retired from the law in order to complete my studies in psychotherapy. Having worked in the City I have personal experience of working in high pressured professional environments and the stresses and strains that those working conditions can engender. Many of my private clients come from similar work backgrounds. I have a particular interest in psychological issues that arise for individuals where there is a conflict between their work environments and their private lives.
My approach is integrative which ensures an opportunity to be listened to in a strictly confidential, secure and safe setting allowing issues to be understood and appropriate solutions identified as quickly and appropriately as possible. I am not bound to any one approach and so am able agree with each client which therapeutic approach is appropriate for them.
My website at www.psychotherapy121.com provides more details about me and my approaches.
