I qualified as a psychotherapist in 2008 after being a counsellor for five years. I hold a MA in Humanistic psychotherapy. Most of my professional career has been working with young people and families in the public and private sector, with the aim of changing dysfunctional dynamics for the betterment of individuals and their families.
I specialize in trauma, sexual abuse, addictions, depression and anxiety. I am a consultant psychotherapist for the NHS in Northamptonshire; working with clients with significant difficulties.
I describe myself as an integrative Psychotherapist and may call upon my knowledge of Transactional Analysis and Gestalt while my main way of working in therapy stems from the Person-Centred approach.
My aim in therapy with you is to understand your world by stepping into it and exploring it together, by doing so I will help you make meaning of your experiences, feelings and emotions with the aim of overcoming the problem(s) that you are experiencing.
