My Approach

Hello … I’m Claire. Thank you for viewing my profile. I am specialist Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist. If you are concerned about the emotional wellbeing of a child or young person please call me to discuss if I can help.

I work with children aged 4-18, offering a range of therapeutic solutions including child psychotherapy, play therapy and attachment focused therapy. My specialist training allows me to address the multiple, complex needs of the developing child and teenager support their emotional growth. I also work with parents & carers.

My work is trauma informed and I utilise a range of creative interventions.

About Me

After a lengthy NHS career working with children, adolescents, and adults I am now working independently.

I offer a confidential, nurturing & empathic relationship help you work through difficulties that may be impacting on how you relate with others in your life and support you to address issues that make life difficult.

Psychotherapy provides the opportunity to work through thoughts, feelings, and emotions; to understand how the past may impact us today and to develop lifelong skills supporting resilience.
