My Approach

I have a strength based relational focus, I prioritise creating a safe, containing space in which families and young people can feel respected, valued and understood.
I am an approved NVR practitioner , running groups for parents both on line and face to face.
I strongly feel that no one is “ hard to engage”, rather that a safe enough context has not yet been provided. I use a creative, playful but grounded approach I’m my work.
I have extensive experience in teaching and supervision of Systemic Family therapy .

About Me

I am a highly experienced Systemic Psychotherapist and Systemic supervisor. I have extensive experience of working in the NHS , initially with adults and for the last 20 years in CAMHS. I work with families who have experienced significant loss,trauma and may be struggling with complex mental health issues .
I have recently retired from the NHS after 33 years but I am looking for new opportunities in independent practice
