My Approach

I am an analytically trained psychotherapist . I have worked with individuals extensively and also have solid experience of group work and couples therapy. I have worked with anyone who has wanted to understand the difficulties in aspects of their lives and offer a humane, supportive and empathic experience. I provide a space where the client can safely speak about the internal conflicts which are impeding their life and to reflect fully on these as they repeat in therapy to find more successful ways of progressing in life. People typically have talked about eating disorders, sexual abuse in childhood, sexuality issues and a whole range of other issues.

About Me

I have worked int he NHS as a therapist for 30 years and had a successful private practice for 15 years. I have worked as a teacher in a secondary school and in the Probation Service in my younger years which has given me an excellent grounding in life and it’s challenges.
