As an integrative arts psychotherapist, my approach draws on a wide range of theoretical models which are used to match the needs of each individual client. This may include Gestalt, transactional analysis, psychodynamic, attachment-based, relational neuroscience, existential, transformative dreamwork, mindfulness, CBT and trauma-informed techniques. I am also a musician and long-term insight meditation practitioner. Both of these disciplines underpin my work.
Over the past 5 years I have worked within the field of complex needs, including learning disabilities, addiction and trauma. I also have training and experience with cancer care, bereavement and loss, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, personality problems, isolation and loneliness, relationship issues and lack of direction and motivation.
