My approach integrates verbal reflections with work with the body, movement, breath and a range of creative arts media to help people come to a better understanding of themselves; and their relationships with others and the wider world in which they live. I draw on integrative, humanistic and Jungian approaches to Psychotherapy.
I am a Dance Movement Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with over twenty years clinical experience. I also have a background in Dance Anthropology and Yoga which I integrate into my clinical work. I work in York and London. I specialise in using an embodied, creative arts approach to psychotherapy which allows you to explore your relationship to yourself and others using the body, movement and a range of creative arts media alongside verbal reflections.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
