Attendance on the introductory course is an entry requirement for GASW’s Diploma and Qualifying Courses. GASW’s year-long Diploma in the Application of Group-analytic Principles qualifies it’s graduates to undertake group work in an agency setting. Its aim is to provide further training for those who have an interest in group analysis, either in a clinical or organisational setting, and to support their practice and professional development as a group therapist/consultant.
GASW also runs a four-year part time Qualifying Course in Group Analysis. The training is accredited by UKCP and graduation following completion of all course components leads to qualification as a Group Analyst, full membership of GASW and entitlement to register with UKCP. All aspects of the training comply with the Codes of Ethics and Practice of the UKCP and GASW.
