#YouMakeTheDifference – Volunteers’ week 2018

Volunteers week

Publication date: May 31, 2018

For this year’s Volunteers’ Week we want to show how truly grateful we are to you our professional volunteers and to say thank you for your amazing contributions, passion and commitment that you bring to the profession and the organisation.

We couldn’t do it without you! Thank you!

Why I volunteer..

Our volunteering community makes a real difference to the psychotherapy profession.

We spoke to some of our volunteers to find out more about them and why they volunteer, and why they would encourage others to get involved.

Rozmin Mukhi

Rozmin is a psychotherapist who is supporting us in various roles, including being a Regional Representative within our Members Forum.

Norman Cooke

Norman is a Lay Volunteer Committee Member at UKCP with a background in education. He is supporting our work within the Education, Training and Practice Committee (ETPC).

Interested in volunteering?

Take a look at our volunteering page to find out more about volunteering at UKCP.

We are currently seeking one lay volunteer Committee Member (an individual who is not practising psychotherapy or psychotherapeutic counselling) and two UKCP registered members to join our well established Membership Committee on a voluntary basis.
