Staff spotlight: Jovana Perzic

Jovana Perzic is UKCP’s Head of Academic Enterprise and Innovation.

Before joining us, Jovana worked for a private higher education institution as Principal, Business Lecturer and Programme Leader for undergraduate and postgraduate business studies.

Her responsibilities included looking after strategic business and educational development, managing partnerships and improving service, quality and standards across the organisation. Her experience inspired her to research management of quality in higher education as her PhD topic.

Jovana is passionate about education and business development. Her role at UKCP, which is part of the Senior Management Team and Executive Committee, is to enhance our membership offer and benefits through new corporate and educational partnerships. She will also be looking at ways to help our organisational members promote their courses by developing and implementing innovative educational platforms, which will also increase public awareness of psychotherapies.

Drawing on her background in higher education, Jovana is keen to support our network of members within academia. She is a co-founder of UKCP Higher Education Special Interest Group (HESIG) which promotes collaborative work in key areas relevant to the mental health of students and staff in higher education.

To find out more about this special interest group, please do get in touch by emailing hesig@ukcp.org.uk if you would like to discuss or be involved with this initiative. If you would like to get in touch with Jovana, please email: jovana.perzic@ukcp.org.uk
