Staff spotlight: Eve Smith

Eve, our Governance Administration Officer, joined at UKCP in October 2018.

Prior to her time with us, she completed an Administration and Management Internship at Auchindrain Township in Argyll, Scotland before studying for a degree in Criminology and Social Science at the University of Cumbria. It was through this course that Eve learnt how important a better understanding of mental health is and of the vital role mental health services play in supporting vulnerable people.

Eve works closely with UKCP College Chairs to help with the day to day admin of running our colleges. In addition, she provides administrative support services and co-ordination for a number of Faculties and to a range of UKCP Committees, such as the Membership Committee, Research Committee and Practitioner Research Networks.

One of Eve’s main focus at the moment is overseeing the trainee bursary scheme. If you are a UKCP registered trainee member, you can apply to be considered for the bursary of up to £1,000.

If you have any questions relating to the trainee bursary scheme please, email Eve at governance@ukcp.or.uk.
