We are recruiting UKCP members to sit as professional members on Adjudication and Interim Order Panels, using their experience and expertise to make informed decisions on the suitability of registrants who are subject to a complaint.
The role of a panel member is integral to supporting UKCP in maintaining standards of excellence and protecting the public through making appropriate independent and procedurally correct decisions at hearings. Panel members should be independent, objective, able to work in a team, and analyse information effectively.
As a member of the Panel, you will be provided with information and advice to help you understand the regulatory and legal framework to assist in your deliberations.
The role will suit you if you have experience in complaints and/or ethics work, can assimilate complex documents and interpret legal advice. This role counts towards your continuing professional development (CPD) and receive £200 honorarium each day attending a hearing.
