Are you keen to help make emotional and mental health a human right? The UK Council for Psychotherapy is the leading organisation for the education, training, accreditation and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors in the UK. Our vision is a world in which emotional and mental wellness is a human right and our goal is to transform lives by unlocking potential. We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to build on UKCP’s strong foundations and to positively lead and manage our friendly, committed and cohesive staff. This is an exciting new role within a growing and ambitious professional organisation that is making real headway in its campaigns and impact. As COO, you will manage all the day-to-day operations and have particular responsibility for ensuring robust regulatory compliance. You will be a credible Chief Operating Officer who wants to be a visible and integral part of UKCP, unafraid to challenge the status quo and able to identify new and improved ways to ensure our short and long-term goals are delivered through strong operational success. You already have an impressive track record of management, ideally within a closely related organisation within a regulatory environment. A strategic thinker, you will be passionate about continuous improvement and will bring proven acumen to enhance our systems and operations. You are a values-driven leader and manager, a role model committed to supporting your teams to realise their full potential. As a member of the Executive and Senior Management Team, your skills, qualities and experience will ensure the ongoing operational and regulatory integrity of UKCP and you will work with the Chief Executive, Trustees and members on achieving our strategic objectives.

This is your opportunity to help shape the way the whole organisation delivers on its ambitions and charitable mission.
