Services Development Committee

The Services Development Committee has reformed under the aegis of the new Vice-Chair for Registrants' Services in order to develop a wide range of services to ensure that UKCP becomes more of an active and relevant professional association for its registrants and the profession of psychotherapy.
We welcome nominations to become a member of this committee from UKCP Sections and Member Organisations, and also from the Registrants themselves.

The committee will meet probably 2-3 times a year and members will also be in touch with each other by e-mail and telephone conferencing.
The areas of remit of this committee include:

• The Psychotherapist
• The UKCP web-site
• Other UKCP publications
• The development of links with other professional journals
• Libraries, databases, etc.
• The development of psychotherapy in the workplace (NHS, Agenda for Change, EAP companies, etc.)
• Professional conferences, seminars and CPD opportunities
• Regional groups
• Other Registrant benefits (like discounts, insurance deals, etc.).

We will be creating suitable Working Parties for all of these activities and would really like Registrants to become involved at this level as well.
