The Psychotherapist

The Psychotherapist is published three times a year. Its primary aim is to provide a communication channel between the component parts of UKCP in order to:

enable UKCP to inform members of internal issues and policy developments
enable psychotherapists to communicate with each other on whatever issues and level deemed appropriate
encourage the dissemination of disparate views and opinions
inform members of developments outside the profession that could impact on their practice
inform members of differences and developments within modalities
support discussion, thought and the continuing development of the profession

The editorial board

Role of the editorial board:

To agree a rolling programme of themes for future issues.
To consider proposals from prospective guest editors and, where necessary, invite individuals to serve as guest editors to cover particular themes.
To develop proposals for future developments in terms of themes, content, presentation and promotion of the magazine.

The editorial board will be chaired by the managing editor.
