Scarborough Psychotherapy Counselling & Training Institute is the foremost therapy training institute in North Yorkshire. We have been offering a range of accredited professional training courses in counselling & psychotherapy for over twenty-five years. If you are looking for a therapist we also have a register of skilled practitioners on this website. Following a complete refurbishment of our attic space, which used to be the servants quarters in Victorian times, we now have extra training room and will be offering a full Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme from Spring 2023.

• Certificate in Therapeutic Skills for Schools.
• Our diplomas are UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) accredited. All our training is specifically designed to ready participants for clinical work in diverse environments. The programmes ask trainees to commit to engaging in their own therapy and to developing a greater understanding of themselves, which will, in turn, encourage them to become more creative and reflexive practitioners.
