Local Network Contacts

Practicing out in the sticks? In the boondocks?
In the middle of nowhere?

Working as a psychotherapist outside the UK's bigger cities can feel
alienating. Even those working in moderately sized cities may feel that
they are professionally 'in the middle of nowhere'.

UKCP, in its aim to be an inclusive organisation, would like to make sure
no registered psychotherapist feels left out - that's why we're developing
a new programme aimed at promoting events in areas of the country in
which psychotherapists may feel 'forgotten'. These could range from small
social and networking meetings to day or half day seminars, depending
on what you would like to attend and would support.

We are currently looking for 'key people' who may be interested in being
local contacts in these areas. UKCP staff will be doing the bulk of the
administration, sending out mailings or taking bookings if those are needed.
But we need local input to make sure what we provide is what you want,
and to help us identify appropriate venues. If you'd be interested in working with us to create events in your area, let us know.

Simply email your contact details to:

We'll make sure somebody gets in touch with you,
so you'll no longer have to feel out of the loop.
