Is UKCP registration recognised by the NHS?
UKCP registration is recognised by NHS Trusts. If any NHS organisation tells you differently, please let us know by emailing . UKCP has successfully challenged NHS trusts where advertised requirements did not include UKCP registration.

Is UKCP registration recognised in other countries?
UKCP represents the United Kingdom in the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP), based in Vienna. The EAP sets standards for equivalence of training and practice throughout Europe. Within EAP, UKCP is the National Awarding Organisation (NAO) overseeing the award of the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP) in the UK.

The ECP is recognised in some countries in the EU and elsewhere.
