To find a therapist, choose from the following options:

How to search the UKCP directory
You do not have to complete every field, choose the ones that are most important to you. The fewer fields you select, the more therapists will be displayed.

Postcode
Do not fill in a complete postcode unless you are looking for a specific therapist whose postcode you know.

If you enter the first part of your postcode you will select people living near you, but may exclude others who are close to you but over a postcode boundary.

If you only enter the letters from the first section of your postcode, you will widen the search and may find people living quite close

Geographic search
This function is not yet available

Keywords
This list will help identify therapists who specialise in particularly areas of work or types of therapy. Note to therapists: see UKCP registrants' section for details of recording your specialisms.

Name
Use this field if you are trying to find a particular therapist or check whether someone is registered with UKCP. If you are not certain of the spelling, try using part of the name as a wildcard. This may give you a very long list of search results. For example, Gul will show Gullivar, Gulivar, Gulliver or Guliver, as well as Gulman, Gullman etc. Donald will find Donald, McDonald and MacDonald.

Order of Display
The results of your search will be randomly displayed, not alphabetically. If you run the same search twice, you will get the results in a different order.

Modality
Use this field only if you want to search for a therapist of a particular modality.

Name
