External Affairs Committee

Formerly the Political Action Group, this committee is being reconfigured.

The objectives of the Political Action Group were:

to secure the position of psychotherapy as an essential asset within society, recognised as such by key decision makers and the public
to ensure that the multiplicity of approaches represented by UKCP are available as real choices for NHS patients
to ensure that the profession has the freedom to develop and improve diverse ways of serving the public
to secure and enhance the position of UKCP as the leading ethical, educational and representative body for psychotherapists practising in the UK and recognised as such in Europe.
